Marshall takes gifts beyond DSC

Rev. Marshall is a retired Elder from the DSC.

(DSC Comm)— Rev. Steve Marshall, retired elder of the Desert Southwest Annual Conference, will be sharing his unique “art sermons” at two out of state venues this summer. On June 1-2, 2012, he will be presenting an art sermon at the United Methodist Women’s Quadrennial Event in Portland, Oregon. During the week of August 19-24, 2012, he will be guest chaplain at The Lakeside Chautauqua on Lake Erie, in Ohio. Lakeside Chautauqua is an ecumenical family community of United Methodist heritage that promotes spiritual growth and renewal through a variety of summer programs. As chaplain, Rev. Marshall will preach at the main Sunday service as well as present daily art sermons during the Chaplain’s Hour.
